ZERO GRAVITY PEN
By
Michael Edwin Q.

When the first American Astronauts went up into outer space, no one believed it would be flawless, and it wasn’t. Of the many bugs that needed to be worked out was they learned that ballpoint pens did not work in zero gravity. So, they spent countless hours in the lab and millions of dollars to come up with a ballpoint pen they could use in outer space in zero gravity, and they did.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, the Russians faced the same problem. Their solution was quite different. The Russian space center gave each of their Cosmonauts pencils.
